My Anesthetic Experience

Hello again,
Yesterday, I had my first ever experience with anesthetic so I thought I would share my experiences on my blog. I stuffed my face full of super noodles at 9pm the night before, as you aren't aloud to eat the day of the operation, then when I woke up at 6:20am, i had a glass of water. I packed my IPad, phone, book, fluffy dressing gown and slippers in a bag and left the house. I arrived in the Dolphin Ward at Croydon University Hospital at 7:30am and they gave me a bed to stay in until my operation. I listened to my music (particularly Olly Murs) for a few hours, while nurses and surgeons came to talk to me and ask some questions. The staff there were so absolutely lovely and they made my first operation no where near as scary as I expected! There were two other girls in my ward and they treated us in order of age. Unfortunately I was eldest, meaning i wasn't seen until about 12:00. I was wheeled into the operation room and the surgeons were very friendly! They were asking me about school and the subjects I chose for GCSE's. Before I knew it I was asleep. They had to uncover a tooth that was stuck in my gum, and attach it to a gold chain, which was then attached to my brace. I woke up at 1pm, then they gave me a Friends dvd to watch while I recovered. I was told I could leave at 3pm and I was a bit disappointed to leave honestly! The memory foam bed and lovely people made my stay perfect and I didn't want to leave!
I have the day off today for recovery with a sore mouth and I will hopefully be in tomorrow. Perfect... just in time for a maths test! Fun fun!!
Bye! x

An introduction to me!

Hi!
I'm not too sure why you are reading this, as i'm pretty sure it will be uninteresting to anyone but me, however, you're here so I may as well introduce myself!
My name is Sarah May, I live in England and am in year 10 at school (that means GCSE time...)
Because of this, I decided to start a blog in order to get more practice with writing, to improve my English grade.
I'm not sure what I will be writing on here, a loads or rubbish probably, but I'm pretty sure it will be a mixture of cats, cooking (since I do Food Tech. at GCSE) and maybe days out/significant days in my life.
Wow, you made it through all my ramblings! You deserve a prize! I reward you with the opportunity to take a tea break out of your day, unless you don't like tea, in which case there is something very wrong with you!
